No oyster embodies the powerful character and sweetness of Marennes Oléron terroir better than the Ronce. This local variety is nurtured by the waters, spray and currents of the Atlantic Ocean where it continues to grow. Its shell slowly takes its shape, becoming rounder and fully filled with the delicate flesh that is so typical of Ronce grown Oyster.
How to enjoy? To enjoy the flavours of the terroir, eat them without anything else than themselves.
Volume of flesh: 13 to 16% of the weight.
Growing method : 3 years in sea.
